After Your Treatment
We'll ask you to wait about 30 minutes before eating or drinking after a varnish application so the fluoride has time to fully absorb into the enamel. Soft foods and room-temperature beverages are fine after that window. You should also avoid brushing for the remainder of the day to give the treatment the best opportunity to work.
